Common Spring season illnesses

Who doesn’t love spring? Spring is a beautiful season as trees and plant bloom again after winter. Everything looks so pretty and green. But for some spring is not so good because their ailments start or aggravates during this season. As flower bloom, pollens are spread by wind and enter eye, nose, lungs of humans. Individuals who are oversensitive to pollens, their problems start due to histamine released by defence mechanism.


Nasal allergies

Nasal congestion, excessive sneezing, runny nose, itchy nose are the common symptoms. If symptoms are mild no medicine is required. Most of the allopaths prescribe antihistamines.
Avoid going out early in the morning due to strong wind pollens are more in the surroundings.

Allergic Asthma

Asthma is a common inflammatory disease of the airways of the lungs which may get aggravates in the spring season. Symptoms include episodes of wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath.

Sinus Infection

Symptoms are nasal discharge(maybe green), headache. Pain behind and around the eye, upper cheek, tooth depends on which sinus is affected. It sometimes may be accompanied by fever and fatigue.

Swimming pool illness

Pool opens in spring after a long break of winter. And many people start swimming. Due to the appropriate temperature for the microorganism to grow, people tend to get more complaints like itchiness in the skin, eye, groins.

Gastric complaints

As the metabolism of body increases, body temperature increase. Hence, more production of hydrochloric acid which causes complaints like acidity heartburn, ulcers more in spring.
