Sugar Free or Erythritol got famous after the number of diabetic patients are increasing everyday. Erythritol or sugar alcohols looks and tastes like sugar but contains almost zero calories that’s why it is consumed by diabetic and people who are on low calorie diet.

Erythritol is now added to many packaged food such as snack and drink items (zero calorie sodas, cold drink and redbull) as well as sugar-free gums and mints. With their benefits,they also have many disadvantages mainly the stomach disorders.

Erythritol doesn’t provide calories or sugar to its consumer is because the body actually can’t break it down. Erythritol travels through your bloodstream and 90 percent of it is excreted in the urine. It doesn’t get metabolized.

  2. Stevia: Stevia is an herbal plant that belongs to the Asteraceae family. Make sure to buy stevia without additives and one that has been less processed. Green stevia is the best option.
